Inter-Satellite links information processing unit is the core equipment of data information management system for a testing satellite. It is responsible for the management of satellite data flow and verifying the validation of inter-satellite links data transmission system programs. Therefor, the performance of inter-satellite links information processing unit has a direct impact on the working status of the testing satellite. According to the testing requirements of inter-satellite links information processing unit, this paper carried out the research of ground test system and accomplished the test of key technical indexes for inter-satellite links information processing unit.This paper focuses on the data transfer mechanism of ground test system and its software implementation. Firstly, the principle of inter-satellite links information processing unit is discussed, and the function and overall structure of the ground test system are described. Furthermore, the key technology protocol is introduced. Then, the ground test system of inter-satellite links information processing unit is accomplished with1553B emulation card. The system consists of four modules:data transmission, data storage, data analysis and data playback. This paper focus on the data transmission module, which designs the generation of system time, tempo switch, interrupt processing, service request and communication protocol stack in detail. Finally, each system function modules were tested and analyzed with BusTools-1553software, and the union test with inter-satellite links information processing unit was realized.The test results show that system achieved inter-satellite links data transfer protocol, and completed transmition of limit amount of data within the specified time correctly which guarantees the synchronization of data transmission beat. This system has been applied to the satellite ground testing, and shows better stability and flexibility which meets the requirements of the ground testing for minter-satellite link information processing unit and achieves the desired objective.
