Today, science and technology is developed, the method of real time updating has become more and more important for everyone. Multi-version data broadcast sends all versions of data to the client. This method has the advantage of high efficient. It has a wide range of applications in people’s daily life. Data broadcast is an efficient communication method for transmitting information to mobile users through wireless channels. It can make the mobile users access database at the same time in a wireless environment. But in real life applications, customers often more access the current popular data than less of that. In this case, we can use the non-uniform broadcast to send data. The Broadcast Disks algorithm (BD) provides very good performance in reducing users waiting time. But this method makes mobile devices tune into the broadcast channel to check the data constantly. In so doing, It is wasting a lot of energy, especially when faced with multi-versions of data broadcasting. Using the index technology in multi-version data broadcast can greatly reduce tuning time and energy consumption of mobile devices. In the same time, the waiting time is not significantly increased. Based on the BD, we proposed the Non-uniform Index of Multi-version Data Broadcast. This algorithm according to non-uniform access pattern. From our experimental study, we have shown that our proposed algorithm outperforms the flexible index and the flexible distributed index.
