In recent years, with the collection of cultural relic heats up, Kam Po type ofprogram on television becomes more and more than before. TV Kam Po type ofprogram, as a new form of television program, with ten years of development, hasbeen widely recognized by audience for its unique general education, social serviceand integration of entertainment elements. Kam Po class program has played anindelible role in the spread of traditional Chinese culture. However, in the process ofdevelopment, there exist several problems, such as homogenization, excessiveentertainment, show fraud and other problems. In2004, Henan TV launched Kam Potelevision program "Hua Yu’s Gate", with several revision, stands out in a fiercecompetition for its unique programming philosophy, broadcast mode and richhumanistic feelings. As a local Kam Po-class cultural program,"Hua Yu’s Gate"remains firmly committed to the orientation of cultural tasting, thus, it gets a goodreputation from audience. Meanwhile, in the development it has gradually formed itsown unique column features.This thesis, taking "HuaYu ’s Gate" program as an example, studies the creationbackground, program allocation and program features, then illustrates problemsexisting in "Huayu’s door" program and proposes some relevant suggestions.Sincerely hope that it can offer help to the sustainable development of "Huayu door"and provide some useful inspiration for the development of China’s current Kam Poother programs.
