The Research And Application Of The Library Information System Of Higher Vocational College Based On Hessian Protocol

The Library of Higher Vocational College plays an important role in the daily teaching and research work. But the library information system at present exist many problems such as difficulties in functional expansion and operating in low efficiency. Especially in recent years, with the expanding of Library Collection and emergence of branch campus, it is put forward higher requirements on Library. In order to achieve the library to provide efficient service to the teachers and students, this paper centers on how to solve the key problem to upgrade and extend in the library.The old library information system is based on Windows+IIS+ASP technology platform. With the increasing of teachers and students visited and the rich client, the information system exist some problems such as heavy load, the operation performance slowly, low service efficiency. This paper proposes to use Java/JSP and Hessian protocols of Web services technology to solve this problem. Using Web service base on Hessian protocol to achieve remote invocation of system, the client is implemented using C#.Net, the server using Java/JSP, so the problem of remote invocation in the C#.Net rich client remote is solved. Now in the situation of the hardware unchanged, using the high efficiency of Java platform to improve the efficiency of library information system and achieve load balance, effectively improve the performance of the library information system.With the rapid popularization of smart mobile phone, teachers and students need to visite library information system through the mobile platform. Common Web webpage mode on a mobile platform exist some problems such as slow speed to access the data, information displayed badly etc. This paper proposes to use J2ME platform with Hessian protocol which is the lightweight binary RPC protocol for the design and implementation of mobile library management system. Through the application of Hessian protocol, we try to achieve the applications of mobile Web services, and configure the server to support HTTPS, use the HTTPS URL object to establish a connection, query the library information on the server safely, so as to achieve the sharing and exchange of information. This research topic has the very good application value.
