As equipment widely used, elevators cause much waste of energy due to the rapidly change of the DC voltage in converter during their operation. In order to reuse the feedback energy, a grid-connected energy regenerative system is designed. Considering the frequent use in daily life, we pay some attention to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) characteristics of the system. Based on the electromagnetic field calculation, EMC characteristics of the PCB designed for the elevator energy feedback system are discussed. Major work is as follows:Firstly, the basic theory of electromagnetic compatibility is elaborated. Including the three elements of electromagnetic interference (EMI), electromagnetic interference pathway and classification of PCB. And the emphasis is laid on the radiation coupling and its characteristic.Secondly, how to give consideration to the electromagnetic compatibility during the design of PCB is presented. How to choose active devices correctly and the electromagnetic disturbances of the PCB are both discussed, involving the layers, layout, track of the PCB.Thirdly, the energy feedback device is designed. Because of the high electromagnetic compatibility requirement and the complex operation conditions, we focus on the switching power supply design. The electromagnetic compatibility is concerned from the PCB design stage. Taking power supply as an example, we present the design of single-ended feedback switching power supply.Fourthly, based on the software of Ansoft Designer6.1, the electromagnetic compatibility characteristics of PCB designed for the switch power supply are calculated. According to the result of calculation, we modify the original design. And the following calculation verify the improvement in electromagnetic compatibility. Considerable modification of the existing system is neededFinally, the design process of elevator energy feedback system, major research results, and shortcomings are presented.
