The navigation and location capabilities of mobile devices are the core content of mobileInternet.In addition the navigation and location services are put forward higher requirementsin the military and civil fields.But there is no a navigation satellite system can meet the indoorand outdoor environments positioning requirements independently.Therefore, satellitepositioning and navigation system will inevitably change from a single signal to a multi-modesignal navigation mode.This paper focuses on the above analysis and combines with the actual needs and plans toimplementation and integrated compass GPS and wireless signal-location mobile navigationsystem. The system precise locates via GPS and Compass dual mode in outdoor environmentsand locates via the wireless signal in indoor environments to achieve multimode and seamlesspositioning.These studies are as follows:1) The existing positioning technologies and positioning systems, especially the wirelesslocation technologies and hybrid location technologies.2) We build a platform for the terminal part of the architecture of the system, selectedSamsung S5E4412development board and GYM multimode satellite receiver moduleaccording to the actual needs.3) This thesis makes a detailed analysis about the process of positioning data receivedfrom the hardware modules to the electronic display map, achieves a seamless multi-modepositioning mode and autonomous positioning mode selected by users.4) We make integration of Apache MINA communication architecture and Spring,Struts, Hibernate for Java EE open source framework, Build a TCP server with highprocessing ability of concurrent requests and high compatibility WEB server.5) We hava researched the communication between device and the service platformprocesses and achieved safe and efficient data communicationThe system implements a mobile device with multi-satellite reception mode, gets rid of theexcessive dependence on the GPS system and achieves a higher accuracy. The systemimplements the wireless signal positioned in indoor environment, enables users to get GPS navigation service at any time, anywhere and meets the higher requirements of positioningand navigation services.The system can be used to locate the position, meanwhile it also can be used to monitordevice locations and make secure communications between devices and services platform.
