With the rapid development of wireless communication network, the spectrum hasbecome scarcer. Cognitive radio networks allow authorized users shared the spectrumwith cognitive users to solve the problem that the spectrum resource is scarce but theutilization is low. Therefore, accurate spectrum sensing is an important prerequisite forspectrum sharing. In cognitive radio networks, spectrum sensing requires cognitiveusers to cooperate during sensing and report the sensed data. Therefore, CRN is subjectto spectrum sensing data falsification attack and primary user emulation attack whichcan cause the untruthfulness of spectrum sensing data. Thus the credibility ofsecondary users is very important in CRNs. However, the traditional cryptographictechniques cannot solve the problem of the credibility of users and data effectively.Therefore, the trust management is introduced to solve this problem in this paper.To solve the problem of the trust in cognitive radio networks, the trustmanagement in cognitive networks is researched in this paper. Market theory basedtrust management for centralized cognitive radio networks is proposed. We use Betareputation model to solve the problem of trust measurement, and introduce the markettheory to solve the problem that how to select a threshold in order to establish the trustrelationship between secondary users. Market equilibrium in the market theory isadopted. The demand function and supply function are built to find the trust value atthe market equilibrium point. With the Beta distribution, the ultimate threshold will begiven so that it can ensure the fairness of the secondary users. Simulation shows thatthe method we proposed is feasible in CRNs. Meanwhile, with the changes of quantitydemand and quantity supply of secondary users and primary users, the correspondingof trust threshold value is dynamic. The dynamic trust threshold can ensure the fairnessof the secondary users.
