High-resolution road monitoring system can provide monitor data for all levels ofthe command and dispatch management departments quickly and accurately, so canmake faster, more effective rescue measures and reduce the accident. At the same time, itcan accurately monitor the illegal speeding, illegal vehicle all of the days and helppolice to track down criminals.In this paper, the research is focused on the overall design of high-resolution roadmonitoring system and the key technologies of engineering implementation. Firstly, theauthor introduces the development status at home and abroad of the track down roadmonitoring system, analyzes the existing problems and propose the basic workingprinciple of bayonet front-end system, then give the methods of the bayonet front-endsystem hardware and software design, finds out and solves the potential problemsduring the operation of the system, and finally, the high clear camera technology isstudied. By means of the shutter speed adaptive control, image acquisition control andautomatically adjust the camera exposure technology, effectively solve theseproblems,such as the impact of light for imaging, image empty phenomenon and theproblem of missed shot, improve the license plate recognition rate and people’s faceimage resolution which in the car.Preliminary application shows that the high-resolution road monitoring system hasa good application effect in video monitoring, image capturing, plate recognition andvehicle contrast, track playback, traffic flow analysis, automatic peccant vehicles alarm.
