Laser has been widely used in the field of transportation, medical and defense, etc, and the laser frequency stability is an important parameter to measure the performance of the laser. How to accurately measure the laser frequency stability is a hotspot in the field of contemporary research.The direct measurement of the laser signal frequency value is beyond the scope of conventional detector measurement, so the measurement of the He-Ne laser frequency stability usually adopts I2frequency stability laser to measure it. Using the beat frequency measurement technology in this paper, we develop a digital signal processing system of He-Ne laser frequency stability, which has high accurate measurement. Accuracy can reach to0.1kHz.This paper has finished a series of works as following:(1) Reading a large number of literatures and researching the laser stability measurement technology at home and abroad. This paper introduces the principle of beat frequency measurement technology, which is widely used. We have designed a design framework of He-Ne laser stability measurement.(2) We design a digital signal processing system of He-Ne laser frequency stability basing on this framework. All work for me:hardware circuit design, PCB design circuit design, welding and circuit debugging and developing the USB firmware program and the timing sequence control program, and so on. It has reached to the requirement of the research.
