In recent years, with the development of Internet technology, people have moreand more requirements about Internet. The disadvantage of the existing IPv4networkis apparently.There is mainly about the shortage of IP address, securiouscommunications, quality of service and mobility, etc. IPv6is suit to solve the aboveproblems. Up to128bits IP addresses is the greatest advantage of IPv6, and it makesevery terminal of the global has a unique address become true. Compared with IPv4,the performance of IPv6is more stable, and more suitable for the current Internet.The application and development of the wireless network makes mobilitybecome important and necessary of the current Internet. Then the MobileIPv6--MIPv6naturally appeared. The key technology of MIPv6is the communicationbetween nodes of binding update process. The traditional way of communication,however, is time-consuming and inefficient, which requires the introduction ofrouting optimization mechanism.Communication between nodes in the routingoptimization and binding process will bring a series of new security issues. And thekey to solve these problems is to verify the legitimacy of the communications node,namely safety certification.Return Routability Protocol(RRP) mechanism, an existing binding mechanism, isa more mature mechanism but still with many shortcomings. To solve the defects ofRRP mechanism, some algorithms such as: Cryptographically Generated Addresses(CGA) and asymmetric keys algorithm (RSA) are joined in the technology. Althoughlargely improved the security of the mechanism of RRP, but still exist deficiencies onsafety and efficiency.This paper describes the research background of MIPv6technology, status andsignificance, and discusses the basic principle of route optimization and the keytechnology. And study several mature node examples of identity authenticationmechanism and security algorithm. In order to solve the problems of thecommunication between nodes in MIPv6routing optimization the binding process,based on CGA and RSA, drawing out a the security binding mechanism without home agent(HA)--CNA(Communications Node Authentication). Through to theauthentication of communication nodes, ensure that mobile node (MN) andcommunication node (CN) are security,then complete the bangding process. At theend,using NS2, a network simulation tools, to simulate the certification process. Thefinal validation is CNA mechanism has some advantages on time performance.
