Electronic auction protocol is the theoretical basis that the electronic auction system smooth implementation, its design and security becomes the most core of theory and the key of technology. In short, electronic auction protocol is a network security protocol, and its design is mainly aimed at an application layer, in the unsafe and complex network, electronic auction protocols play an important role to ensure the communication message of the integrity, anonymity, and non-repudiation. The paper applies the digital signature technology to research the electronic auction protocol in further.Electronic auction is a special mode of spot transactions, it achieve the network of auction system. With the rapid development of information technology and the spread of the global Internet, various types of electronic commerce spring up in the network. Electronic auction, as an emerging way of e-commerce, is one of the most important parts of Electronic commerce, and its realization on the network has important practical significance. It has been widely cared in recent years.Blind signature theory bas been widely used in the field of Electronic commerce, since it was brought forward in1982by Chaum, because it can protect the privacy of the users in e-commerce, be used in anonymous e-cash and anonymous e-voting. Ring signature theory is first proposed in2001by Rivets and Shamir. Due to its signature organization structure relatively free, on the premise of guarantee anonymity can realize the signature, and in the process of signature does not need to exchange of information with the other members. In order to protect communication information, more and more scholars favor and attention. In the first, the paper proposes an electronic auction protocol, using the anonymity of ring signature and which does not exist in the organizers, take the place of the group signature in electronic auction protocol. Then, on the premise of application of electronic auction, combining with the advantages of the ring signature and blind signature, a new method for signature is proposed-Ring Blind Signature. The contributions are the followings:Firstly, in order to satisfy the electronic auction of anonymity, under the premise of the introduction partially trusted entities, an electronic auction protocol is presented based on the ring signature. This protocol can not only guarantee the bidder anonymity, but also can ensure the legitimacy of the bidder, compared to the existing electronic auction protocol based on group signature, there is no any information communication with auction party and the other bidders in bidding, any bidder can take part in plural auctions as a valid bidder in one-time registration of public key, reduces the communication complexity, so a significant increase in the execution efficiency.Secondly, combining with the advantages of ring signature and blind signature, proposed a new method for signature--Ring Blind Signature. The message owner can get a signature of the message by Ring Blind Signature. The signature can be verified, but couldn’t know the exact signer. Ring blind signature is applied to electronic auction protocol; the bidder is the ring member.Thirdly, the paper proposes an electronic auction protocol based on ring blind signature, it not only can ensure the anonymity of bidders and unforgeable, but also can guarantees the secrecy of bidding price and ensure that no one can see others’ bidding price until the end of the bidding.
