With the quick development of network, digital signature plays an important role in reallife, and more and more new requirements are presented. As a result, a lot of special signatureschemes are proposed such as ring signature,group signature, proxy signature, thresholdsignature and so on. As a kind of simplified group signatures, ring signature overcomes thedisadvantage that the right of the administrator in group signatures is too large, and the signeris unconditionally anonymous. Its unconditional anonymity,group characteristics andspontaneous has a special role in building E-government system. Therefore, the research forring signature scheme has important theoretical and practical significance.This thesis mainly discusses the ring signature scheme and its applications to theE-commerce. This paper carries out the research in the following aspects:1.Firstly, we have introduced the basis mathematica theory that associated with thisarticle, ranging from basic number theory,Galois Field,mathematical difficulties andknowledge of digital signatures; then briefly summary of the ring signature and e-cashresearch in development status.2.Secondly,we introduce the basic principles and security features of ring Signatureanalyze and summarize the method of ring signature scheme design; and also point out that aspecial digital signature technology is one of the key technologies of the E-Commerceapplications, outlined several specific digital signatures and their application.3.By means of analysis on the ring signature schemes of Zhang-Kim、Chong-zhi Gao andWANG Jian-Dong,proposed new ring signature schemes on the basis of identity-base andpairings signature scheme.Through our analysis,we find the ring signature schemes of LeinHarn can’t satisfy this advantage,i.e.,it isn’t convertible.Then,we improved the originalscheme.The improved ring signature scheme can satisfy this advantage and is secure.InSection5, It makes use of the signer-admission ring signature sheme Lu proposed andconstructs a new signer-admission ring signature sheme form Bilinear Pairings with strictformal security proofs.4.Then it also presents concurrent signatures built based on ring signatures in order toachieve fairness exchange of signatures. By engaging in a concurrent signature protocol, either each party obtains the other’s signature, or neither party does. Finally, by integratingand choosing ring signature with superior properties,a fair electronic commerce protocolwithout the third party based on concurrent signatures is presented according to inherentpattern.In the end, it summarizes some problems in ring signature research field and fingers outthe possible study and evolution directions of the ring signature in future.
