Research On Network Communication System Based On Embedded Linux System

With the rapid development of computer information technology, embeddedsystem has been widely applied to every field of life. Embedded products get thefavour of broad consumer for advantages of its small volume, strong function, lowcost. So a variety of embedded digital products preduce.Embedded has become themain tool in information processing after PC. Research on embedded system anddesign with a graphical interface embedded terminal to the system, has a importantpractical value.This paper used the S3C6410chip which produced by samsung. Refer to thetechnical documentation, from the kernel, drivers and applications, in the order frombottom to top in turn introduced the embedded system development process as awhole. Due to the different features of embedded devices,and the users need toconsider. In the embedded system development, they need to customize the kernel anddevice driver design, and the upper user interface development.Paper first explains related concepts of embedded system application prospectand development present situation. Because of this paper is on the basis of ARM-Linux, so mainly introduce the ARM processor and Linux system.Next, it intoducethe detail process to built the open development enviroment for enbeded system. Itexplains the underly development enviroment to build in the order of the migrationfrom bootloader and production, cutting and compiling the kernel, making the rootfile system. Then is the building process of the upper application program interfacedevelopment enviroment, this part is used the user interface development tool of crossplatform QT/E. Translate the Qt/E to the development board to prepare for thedevelopment of upper interface. And then According to my own development needs,it has studied the driver of DM9000and LCD to familiar with the program principleand implementation process, Then made a test for they. Finally finishing thedevelopment of their own LAN chat system, the chat system has realized the messageis sent, file transfer, user information display and modify main functions such asmessage font format.
