Based On NF Database Rapid Analysis And Design

Since1970America IBM researcher E.F.Codd first found out the relational database model, opens up the research field of relational-database theory and method, database technology started its fast and rapid development. In current popular database technology, the theory of relational database as its basic theory has a very important guiding significance for many emerging technology. Such as object relational database, data warehouse, XML schema, on-line analytical processing database and so on are appearing which based on the union of database technologies and other kinds of technologies. In addition, many new database applications just like spatio-temporal database are appearing which based on the union of database technologies and many kinds of applications.In database application a system is successful or not depends on the quality of relational-database designing.While the relational-database normalization and the degree of normalization play a decisive role in the relational-database schema design. A good relation schema can not only eliminate all kinds of abnormal, but also save the space of database storage, convenient database management system to manage the data. This article through analyzing the various abnormal which produced by database operation, combining with the theory of normal form, through to decompose the relation schema, obtain the relation model belongs to a certain level of normal form, and solve the abnormal data in the normal form.Database modeling is a fast and efficient and convenient method when research problems.After study the application of normal form combined with concrete example, using Oracle Designer database design software, through constant modification and adjustment of relational schema, get the best relation model.Summarized the standard of select the normal form when build the database model, so as to improve the speed of database build, reduce the cost of database design time.Figure10table19reference28...
