Integrated transport system has become the world’s transport developmentconsensus. Multimodal transport is the core of comprehensive transport system.Compared with other optimization problems, the optimal path problem of multimodaltransport is troubled by more variables and highly complex network. Currently inmultimodal transport networks little progress is improved, and in the expansion of thetransport network, transport uncertainty of the environment and transport regionaldifferences and other aspects of the operation, there is a certain gap between the existingnetwork and the reality transport. In this paper, an irregular prism network model ispresented, and cofactor searching, sorting judgement and classification calculations, irregular prism network system module are designed, with a low-carbon pathoptimization model of the multimodal transport, the experiment is simulated, improvingthe mul-network, giving the solution to the optimal path of mul with complex variblesand network, exploring the rules of impacts of some transport parameters. The maincontents are:1. For the complexity and diversity of multimodal issues variables, irregular prismnetwork-model is designed. The network side edges represent inter-city transportation, and bottom edges represent transshipment. The network’s deterministicity, dynamicity,time-varying, regularity, and other characteristics, to a certain extent, can reflect thecomplexity and diversity of multimodal issues variables, such as: uncertainty canquantify some flexibility during transport; time-varying variables may reflect somemoments transport time characteristics, dynamic and regularity can represent somespecial transport variables. Different realities transport conditions can be achieved bydifferent prism networks, in order to adapt to the actual development of multimodaltransport networks and complex volume characteristics, making the intermodaltransport network meet the real transport more.2. For the regional network, scalability, more variables and highly complexproblem, the cofactor searching, sorting judgement and classification calculations, irregular prism network system modules are designed, including: construction, operation, searching. In the constructor module, through cofactor searching andjudgment different characteristics prism networks are initialized. In the arithmeticmodule, with the relative code, judging-function of the bottom and side edges aredesigned, so that different kinds of edges are explained as the variables which satisfy certain constraint conditions, achieving arc intelligent classification; meanwhilejudgement function and operation function corresponding to sample prsim andconnectivity are designed to get network group creating and updating, so that, accommodating regional network, scalability, more variables and highly complexproblems. In the search module, approximate and deterministic searching algorithms aregiven.3. For low-carbon intermodal routing problem, a low carbon path optimizationmodel of multimodal transport is established. Considering the multimodalcharacteristics of the different modes of transport, and considering the changes inemission limits as well as the impact of regional environment differences on transitrestrictions, emissions and transshipment, the basic transport costs, emissions, speedand other factors are included into the model, establishing a low-carbon intermodalrouting optimization model.4. Based on irregular prism network model, irregular network system module, andlow-carbon multimodal path optimization model, experiment is simulated. Accordingexample, the influence rules of emission limits on overall costs and total emissions ofthe path, and the impact rules of path selecting under different constraints of emissionlimits, are simulated and analyzed. In addition, the changing rule of path overall costsand total emission are discussed, under some certain changing parameters such as loadfactor, the cost factor, speed.
