User interface design is an indispensable link among the various links in theElectronic games development. User interface design which originated from thehuman-computer interaction field of software is now introduced in electronic games. Itcontains two important aspects of interactive design and image design. Therefore, theuser interface design of computer games is also an integrated cross-discipline, whichincludes knowledge and contents on disciplines in various fields.First of all, research objects are summarized and concepts are defined in Chapter1(Introduction). Then, research background, research significance, domestic and foreignstatus quo, research objectives, research contents, key problems to be solved andmethods are comprehensively analyzed to guide the overall research of this paper. InChapter2, theories of game user interface design on cross-disciplines basic theories areillustrated and they are considered as fundamental theories for designing game userinterfaces. Chapter3focuses on analyzing visual elements and hardware concerningcross-disciplines elements in designing game user interfaces as well as the roles of theseelements in cross-disciplines elements of games, problems that may exist for both ofthem during cross-disciplines elements. In combination with design theories asmentioned in Chapter2, feasible solutions to above problems are put forward in Chapter4. In Chapter5, research theories of this paper are summed up, and complete designideas are proposed by constructing a model for designing user interfaces of gamescross-disciplines user interface. According to design ideas of Chapter5, the design ofgraduation works is practically verified. At last, the author reflects on the researchfindings and brings forth the future prospects.
