Design And Implementation Of Network Management Agent Based On SNMP

With the development of computer network technology, network managementsystems have been widely used in various fields. Traditional network managementsoftware can not meet the specific needs of the airborne equipment, which is morecomplex, more features, high safety and reliability requirements In the AFDX. Anetwork management system to manage airborne equipment is proposed in the paper,which is based on SNMP and the design of MIB.First, this paper reviews the development of the AFDX and the research of networkmanagement systems. Then, this paper describes the technology about the networkmanagement, including the architecture, SNMP packets, SMI, MIB, and the differencesbetween the XML language and BIN language. Finally, the design framework of thenetwork management systems is proposed, and the design and realization of theprinciple about MIB, SNMP packets module, trap module and codec module arediscussed and researched in the paper, including the parser module in MIB module.When the MIB’s content needs to be changed, only need to change the description of thecontents of the configuration file of the MIB, then configure the file to the proxy clientsystem initialization file.After testing and validation, this system basically meets the needs of the networkmanagement, and makes the communication of the airborne equipment safer and moreeffective.
