Design And Implementation Of Information Inquiry System Of Train Based On Android

With the rapid development of society, the train had already become the maintransportation for travelling, so the train information query has become a commondemand. And the mobile phone is widely used nowadays, so it is convenient andfeasible to inquire the train information by mobile phone. In this paper, a small specialinquiry system of train information is designed with Android intelligent mobile phoneas a platform, which can provide customers with high speed and quality of queryservice.This paper makes the requirement analysis of the train information query in twoaspects of the UML case diagram and the activity diagram in consideration ofdevelopment environment, system target, designing process and database design. Theproposed system includes the train site inquiry, the train line inquiry, the train transferinquiry and background management module realizing common inquiry functions. Inaddition, the system uses the unique database design which provides transfer inquirestwice at least.As the SQLite database embedded in Android is used, the package of applicationis so small that users can download and install it agilely. In the other hand, theapplication runs in the mobile phone not depending on the network, so it can provideinquire service in the environment without signal. Finally the function of the systemhas been tested. The test results show that the system is friendly and the functions ofthe system are perfect.
