Design And Implementation Of Android Mobile Phone Query The Bus Information

The public transportation is one of the main travel tools to the citizens at now, sothey need one way to get the bus information easily. This paper uses Androidintelligence mobile phones as a platform to design an application through mobile phoneto query the bus information. As a small bus inquiry application, it can provide userswith faster, higher quality services to get the bus information, and also provide citizenswith easily way to get the bus information. By this way, this application can promotethe level of public transport service in some extent, encourage and attract citizens totravel by public transportation.Based on Use case diagram and the activity diagram, this system design anddevelop a small application that using smart phone to query the public transportinformation. Using mobile phones, users can query the bus information including busstop inquiry, the bus line inquiry and bus transfer station inquiry. Among them, thealgorithm of bus transfer station inquiry in this paper is different from others, the othersystems provide only once bus transfer query, but this thesis use a special databasedesign, therefore it can provide more than once bus transfer query. This application issmall, so users download it easily, install and use it very convenient by mobile phone.The application can run in the mobile phone without online, so it is running independentof the network environment, even if the mobile phone lost signals, it can also get theresult of query of the bus information, therefore users use it very convenient.This thesis covers the following aspects in general system design: developmentenvironment, system target, design process, function design and database design, thesystem can implement the bus line inquiry, the bus stop inquiry and the bus transferinquiry. Finally the function of the system has been tested, the test results show that thesystem is friendly and the functions of the system are perfect.
