Technology of network develops rapidly in recent years and network has became more and more important in human’s life. As its maneuverability and invulnerability, the microwave communication is suitable for some special occasions such as emergency communication. But the stations of system locates apart from each other, whereas the service of one station may be shared by the others, a facility is needed for the interconnecting of these stations. Indeed this process is a buildup of LAN, or an expansion of network of the station.The network bridge in TDD/TDMA microwave communication system is researched in this paper. The main work and achievements are as follows:Firstly, the transport technique is designed according to the characteristics of TDD/TDMA microwave communication system. Frame synchronization and error control technology are designed.Secondly, based on the Ethernet PHY chip LXT971and NIOS embedded processor the hardware circuit and software working flow are designed, and the main functions of wireless bridge are accomplished.The result of experiment shows that the bridge performs stably and reliably, and the bridge has high communicating efficiency.
