Mini transceiver is an important equipment for civil wireless communication, which plays a significant role in the civil wireless communication. With the rapid development of electronic technology, miniaturization on the communication equipment is being paid more and more attentionThe demand for the volume and power consumption of the wireless communication equipment is high because of the limited space and drive force. The consumers’ requirements may not be met applying the routined communication scheme and hardware circuit. Therefore, the detailed analysis and design need to be done from all respects in the whole project.The basic theory of TDD and spread spectrum communication is put forward based on the system analysis. After the comparison between the working modes, the spread communication scheme based on TDD is provided and the realization is demonstrated.On the basis of the equipment smallerization analysis, RF integration technology is adopted to design the hardware circuit, and then program the software part. Finally, the mini transceiver is realized.The essay mainly includes:1) TDD time division duplex system is adopted in the theme. RF circuit smallerization and integration design and large-scale IC application technology are introduced to realize the mini transceiver with relative leading level at home and abroad in all aspects such as volume, weight and power consumption. The appearance is70X50X30mm in size,160kg in weight, and less than6W. in power consumption.2) Adopt advanced RF IC technology including direct quadrature up-converter technology DQUC based on quadrature modulation, integrated rapid AGC technology and high-efficiency power amplifier technology to realize the RF circuit smallerization and lower power consumption design.3) Adopt singlechip FPGA to implement digital baseband processing:interface sequential processing, space interface sequential processing, digital baseband spread spectrum modulation and demodulation and clock extraction. Program for the equipment smallerization.4) The test is done and the result shows that the equipment meets the system parameter requirements from all aspects on miniaturization and low power consumption design. The equipment can satisfy the consumers.
