In last few years, with the increasingly fast development of wirelesscommunication technology, especially of the short-distance one, more and morewireless devices have been emerging in peoples’s lives. ISM2.4GHz band is the onlypublic band all over the world. Besides ZigBee, many other communication systemswork in this band, including WiFi, Bluetooth, wireless USB and so on. Increasingnumber of the short-distance wireless communication technology work in the2.4GHzband, which may cause problems of interference between different systems becomingmore and more serious, and this interference is unavoidable.The interference betweenZigBee and WiFi or Bluetooth are particularly valued of all systems. Although ZigBeeis different from WiFi and Bluetooth in design purpose, and ZigBee has been deployedlater than another two systems, but it is likely to coexist in close proximity in the future.So ZigBee system is bound to suffer the EMC from WiFi and Bluetooth. Therefore, it ismuch important to focus on the performance of ZigBee system under the interference ofWiFi and Bluetooth.This paper introducts IEEE802.15.4physical layer frame format, channelallocation and modulation and spread spectrum technology in the first. Then, a briefintroduction shows in this paper about the physical layer protocols and features of WiFisystem and Bluetooth system.It is indicated that through the simulation in Simulink of Matlab, we get thecorresponding values of BER and PER without the interference of WiFi and Bluetooth,other channel conditions remaining unchanged and just changing the value of the SNR.It can be said that the Receiver can receive the transmitted signal successfully when thePER is equal to1%or less. This performance of ZigBee system can be counted. Andassumes that these three systems, ZigBee and WiFi, Bluetooth, send messages under thecondition at the same time that the SNR equals to5dB,3dB and0dB respectively andonly changes the value of the SIR. According to the acquired PER values, the effects ofZigBee system in the respective interference of WiFi and Bluetooth or both of them canbe counted.Then the performance of ZigBee system can be analyzed.
