This thesis outlines the great effect of Pinyin in Chinese education which hasbeen born55years. It mainly describes the innovation on "Chinese Character InputSystem after the huge benefits of the past30years’ education informatization process.This thesis focuses on the language and phonetic problems and needs in teaching. Wedevelop a standardized and practical way for lower grade teaching which also can takeadvantage of the digital Pinyin which is identified as Guoyun Pinyin. Guoyun Pinyinis oriented toward the lower grades teaching. What’s more, we come up with a newChinese teaching mehod based on Guoyun Pinyin. Here we not only present itsnecessity and possibility for Pinyin, Chinese and manderin teaching in details but alsostate the innovation and process of this new input system. Expect all of these, we hasproven digital Pinyin’s role of help and test in Chinese,Pinyin,composition,reading and literacy teaching. Through this, we find out the tremendous potential ofPinyin. It shows the modern values of digital Pinyin for the modernization of Chineseand Chinese teaching. Now Guoyun Pinyin Input System has been brought into theChinese learning platform belongs to the Ministry of Education.
