This paper derives from an application project of a corporate, which focus on the key technicalproblem of reliable encryption and transmission for file on the network.A hybrid encryption algorithm which based on AES and ECC is proposed in this paper. The algorithmsolved the issues of traditional single encryption algorithm, such as easy to decipher, inefficient, vulnerabilities of encrypted key management, as well as to strengthen the security of robustness of fileencryption system. At the same time, the information entropy algorithm was applied in the system in orderto raise the integrity and efficiency of the file encryption algorithm. A network file encryption/decryptionsystem with hybrid encryption algorithm is proposed in this paper based on C/S architecture. The MD5algorithm was employed to complete the authentication of the requesting terminal at first, then the AESalgorithm was employed to encrypt the packet data, and ECC algorithm was employed to generate digitalenvelope. The whole network file encryption system is based on client-server, the programmingenvironment is on JDK1.5.006of java language. Both function and performance testing are employed for the designed system in the paper, whichfocus on the security and file transmission, the ratio of data encryption/decryption and the ratio fileencryption/decryption. The results show that the maximum ratios of encryption/decryption operation forthe file encryption system are up to26.37Mbps and25.63Mbps separately. The application results showthat the system is able to transmit secret information conveniently and safely, and meet the designrequirements in real. Meanwhile, it is useful in engineering practice.
