Civil aviation is the most modern means of transportation，it also is importantbasic industry of national economy.With the development of civil aviation, it s animportant symbol of economic and social prosperity. In order to fully satisfy the demandof passenger for travel time and the quality of service, as well as it could expand airpassenger market share. Airlines will have to set up their own ticketing system so thatcustomers can more fully understand our services through the network.Paper investigated the the research status of air ticketing system at present andair ticketing management system based on Web is designed. Ticketing managementsystem research thesis expounds the present situation, introduced the related technologyof J2EE, analyses the requirements of ticketing management system with a use casediagram and use data flow diagrams of the system to data and process modeling. On thebasis of the given system B/S application framework designed, the systemmanagement had developed customer information management, flight informationmanagement, financial management, query statistics management, booking managementof six major functional modules,the ticketing management system is realized.Finally, the management of each function module was tested, the test was in goodcondition and the system has been launched and preliminary application.
