In Information Age, the phones are important mobile terminals for nearly everyone in communication. Smart phone also represents the future direction of development of mobile phones, meanwhile as the development of smart phone focuses on mobile phone applications, its interaction and experience of interface design will become more important. While the design methods for phone applications existed is not systemic and perfect. This article aims to establish a relatively perfect design method for phone applications guided by the user’s experience, including the establishment of relative design standard, principle and process. It aims to enrich the design theory guided by the user’s experience, and effectively guide design practice. The research mainly discussed from the following several aspects. First, on the basis of related design theory, including emotional design, metaphor design, and conscious design, etc, this paper refined and generalized these theories and principles that could enhance users’ experience. Then on the basis of checking books and relevant literature, combined questionnaires and interviews and so on, the paper analyzed the factors that affect the experience of mobile application, such as device characteristics, user characteristics and environment, the impact that their characteristics for the mobile application design and design requirements. And then aiming to enhance user experience, combining with the characteristics of mobile application itself, the paper made up mobile application design method and principle, such as simplicity, consistency, simulation, fast, fault tolerance, emotional, relevance and brand, while clarified the definition and performance of all design principles respectively from the instinct layer, behavior layer and reflect layer. Finally, from five levels of user experience-Strategy, Scope, Structure, Skeleton and Surface, the paper details the design process, including design goals of all stages, the tasks that needed to be done, and the research methods involved in, thus we accomplished the mobile interactive design method and process guided by the user’s experience, and then verified its validity by analyzing the actual case of mobile application design.
