With the usability of the computers has been continuously enhanced,computers have basically popularized among the all people. And the Internet as acommunication medium of computers has the characteristics of convenient and fast.So Internet occupies an irreplaceable position in the information age. However,Internet has brought convenience to people’s lives, while it gave rise to a number ofproblems caused by the network security incidents. Relevant departments need tostudy the principles of network security incidents to prevent and control theoccurrence of these events, formulate relevant control scheme further.In the study of network security events, the events are hazardous and thereforeit is not suitable for experiments in a real network environment. The networksimulation as a computer simulation technology is very suitable as a researchmethod of network security incidents because of the characteristics of the safe non-destructive, controllability and so on. However, the size of the network topology isnow rapidly growing so that network simulation tools have been unable to completethe simulation process well. Therefore, we researched network topologyaggregative scheme to achieve the aggregation of the host and routers nodes on thenetwork topology. Thus it can reduce the size of the network topology to ensure thenormal operation of large-scale network simulation.In this paper, we used a new simulator NS3as the network simulation tool.First, we analyzed the principle of NS3network simulation and the of networksimulation process of NS3. Based on this, we proposed a network topologyaggregation scheme, it use tree aggregation and an algorithm based on the linkcharacteristic to achieve the aggregation of network topology. And we achieved thepacket forwarding process between the nodes in the abstract area and nodes in thenon-abstract area based on the calculation model in the simulation. Finally,according to the principles of network security incidents, we designed andimplemented three security incidents simulation on the NS3simulator, whilecompleted a network security event simulation system based on topologyaggregation and its front functions and database were tested separately. Finally, weanalyzed the security event simulation results.In summary, in this paper we use a new network simulator NS3and topologyaggregation techniques to implement a network security event simulation systembased on topology aggregation. The system test shows that the system can properly achieve the system design goals, and from the experimental results, we can see thatthe topology aggregation can keep the authenticity of the security event. And thesystem can be as a tool for researchers to research the network security incidents.
