At present, with the development of the national economy, people’s educational level isgetting more and more higher. However, there are a low utilization, difficulty resourceretrieval and shared ineffectively in Chinese higher education resource. So the contents of thisthesis is the application of cloud computing to the university resources, reducing the costs ofresources construction and maintenance, improving the utilization of existing resources, andavoiding duplication of the same resources. Cloud computing technology and social networksis a new solution of these problems. Cloud computing can provide service to the users. Theusers can use these high-tech service and skilled while they do not understand the relevanttechnology. So it can improve the level of intelligent system.Based on the analysis of the current situation of higher education resources and cloudcomputing development status at home and abroad and combined the theory of cloud withsocial network development technology, this thesis puts forward a autonomous learningplatform in Hadoop platform. As long as the users register and login in the system they canstudy, share experience in the platform, upload and download study materials and propose thestudying problems encountering in the learning process. This system can improve thestudents’ interest in learning, and make full use of the teachers’ and students’ learning time.This paper introduces in detail the process of building Hadoop cloud computing platform, andintroduces the key technology of Hadoop platform such as HDFS, MapReduce and HBase.This paper design the autonomous learning system based on cloud computing in collegesand universities, using B/S architecture, combining HBase with Java EE Webdevelopment.Then I starting to design modules in this thesis. The system has three bigmodules as follows, user operation, care about each other and exchange of information. Andthe thesis designs and implements the modules detailedly.Finally, the thesis summarizes the work that I have done in this procedure, and prospectsthe development of cloud computing in the field of higher education resources.
