It is critical for accurate measurement of atmospheric data of modern aircraft. We can describethe entire air data by these parameters: angle of attack, angle of sideslip, free stream Mach number, pressure and the true airspeed. The other parameters can be calculated by these five parameters. Itcouldn’t be useful for hypersonic aircrafts when they are installed with traditional air data sensingsystem. Therefore, specialized requirements of advanced vehicles make using flush air data sensingsystem (FADS). FADS can sense the values of pressure using a matrix of pressure transducers. Thesevalues can infer the five parameters through an algorithm. In this chapter, the validation of CFD is discussed first. RAE2822wing is used to analyze theflow. Then, difference of the turbulence model (including Spalart-Allmaras one-equation model, k-εtwo-equation model, and k-ω SST (Shear-Stress Transport) two-equation model) is talked about andcompared to the value of experiment. Finally, the turbulence model of this paper is SA model.Through the analysis of some hypersonic aircrafts, FADS concept relies on a pneumatic model, the architecture of pressure transduces and a algorithm. This paper mainly describes a hypersonicvehicle. At first, three-dimensional model is constructed. Then, calculating the pressure on the nose ofthe vehicle under different flight conditions. Last, the layout of the vehicle can be determined throughthe analysis of these air data.Different algorithms are analyzed for determining the air data parameters for measured pressures.Based on the data from CFD, a specialized algorithm for hypersonic aircraft is designed, called triples.Using this algorithm, calculate the values of angle of attack, angle of sideslip, Mach number and so on.Then, the algorithm will be verified and analyzed by the data calculating in chapter four.
