Fracture is a complex and irregular surface which is formed by fracture in theprocess of testing or using, In the white light interference system, because fracturesurface is dotted with a large number of different shape and deep pits, the unevensituation may result in incident light happen multiple reflections, and increasing thedifficulty to obtain the complete information of the surface. Monte Carlo is a methodwhich is based on sampling theory and generate random number, It is based on potentialchange rule of the problems which need to be obtained, or a physical phenomenon aboutthe specific statistical regularity, construct a theory of probability model in artificialway, then do a lot of experimental research, make its parameters just is the solution ofthe problem. In the light interference phenomenon, because of the randomnessmovement of the particles themselves, so in this article we use Monte Carlo method tosimulate the random surface of white light interference signals.This article first expounds the white light interference detection system, randomsurface related parameters and the basic principle of Monte Carlo simulation, Bystudying the implementation to deduce the random surface scanning white lightinterferometry theory, Then combining with the basic principle of Monte Carlo method,using Monte Carlo method to simulate random surface of white light interferencesignals, the last through the simulation analysis the influence of the interference signalsuch as different light source spectral distribution, surface roughness and the noise existin the system.In this article, we use the Monte Carlo method simulate the white light interferenceon cleft tip, Newton’s rings and random surface vividly. We can know that the bigger ofthe light spectrum, the better of the interference effect; and the surface roughness isinversely proportional to the white interference signal; the noise of the system willreduce image contrast, and the administrative levels maybe worse, so we should useappropriate methods to reduce the noise interference...
