MEMS inertial measurement system (Micro-Electric Mechanical InertialMeasurement System) is one application of micro inertial devices used to measure thetransporter’s navigation parameters. How to model the system and analysis itsmeasurement error, and then develop the reasonably practicable calibration method, isone of the key technologies of using and developing of MEMS inertial measurementsystem.For the inertial measurement system based on the medium or low precision MEMS,the inertial devices used by small tactics guided missile. First, the performance ofmedium or low precision MEMS were analyzed, the motionless and tendenciesmathematical model of MEMS inertial devices were established, and then, the mainfactors affecting MEMS inertial devices and MEMS inertial measurement system wereanalyzed. Confirming the error model and error compensation method of MEMSinertial measurement. Establishing the basis of designing calibration model.Designing the calibration model, which be based on minimum two ride estimatingmethod. In allusion to characteristics of the rolling direction of the angular rate range,the calibration method were designed. On the basis of the full range linear calibrationmethod, optimal design were proceeded. Application of segmented and non-linearcalculation method significantly reduces the mean square error and scale factor error,then takes the scale factor into the navigation model. It is verified in the assessment test.
