With the rapid rise of the technology of World interoperability for Microwave Accessand WIFI, in order to meet the challenges of them. In the end of2004, the InternationalStandardization Organization3GPP launched LTE technology standardization,thus fulfillsmoothed transition from3G to B3G and4G. Thus consolidating the dominance oftraditional cellular mobile technology.In this paper, based on LTE physical layer protocol,through constructing the LTE downlink physical layer link simulation platform, this can beused to research and analysis of its key physical layer technologies.Firstly, the paper describes the background, objectives and status of the evolution andmarket development of LTE technology, explains the basic principles of the basic conceptsof physical layer and downlink physical layer key technologies OFDM, modulationtechniques, then building the LTE downlink physical layer link simulation platform, usingthis platform to realize the simulation analysis of the different modulation mode, differentUE speed. Then introduces a filter bank based multi-carrier technology (FBMC), becauseFBMC has the advantages of smaller band leak and without adding cyclic prefix, it isconsidered to be a technology that can replace OFDM. the basic principle of FBMC systemwere elaborated, including the prototype filter design, system implementation structure andOQAM modulation characteristics, Then analyzed by simulation technology FBMCcompared to some of the advantages of OFDM. Finally, the paper introduces the LTEsystem hardware platform—T6280universal radio communication tester, The tester cansupport a variety of communication standards. Then it introduces the development of GPIBdriven which is the responsible of the author. In this paper, the basic concepts of GPIBinterface and interface function has carried on the simple instructions, then based on thedescribe of the registers of the GPIB interface chip TNT5002to understand how to realizethe function of GPIB interface. Finally, designing the GPIB driver software to implementits functions.
