Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)technology has become the physical layer key technology of the fourth generation mobile communication system.However,because of its use of cyclic prefix(CP),the spectrum efficiency is low.Filter Bank MultiCarrier(FBMC)has been widely attention because it uses a prototype filter with excellent time-frequency location which can effectively combat ISI without the use of CP.However,the FBMC system only satisfies the real field orthogonal,which leads to some key technologies of the traditional CP-OFDM system can not be directly transplanted to the FBMC system.In view of the above problems,this thesis focuses on the channel estimation and time-frequency synchronization of FBMC system,and builds a prototype verification system based on software definition radio platform.Firstly,this thesis studies the channel estimation algorithms of FBMC in Single-Input Single-Output(SISO)system,and finds a channel estimation method which is suitable for engineering realization by comparing the Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR)and analyzing the complexity of these algorithms.For the multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)system,this thesis presents a MIMO-FBMC channel estimation method based on real orthogonal sequences.Secondly,this thesis studies the time-frequency synchronization problem of FBMC system.Through the research and analysis,the classical synchronization algorithms are applied to the FBMC system.Besides we find a time-frequency synchronization algorithm for SISO-FBMC and MIMO-FBMC respectively which is suitable for engineering,and apply them to the prototype verification platform of this thesis.In addition,according to the characteristics of the pilot sequences designed for the channel estimation of MIMO-FBMC system,the joint algorithm of synchronization and channel estimation is proposed.Finally,by the design of algorithms,software programming and hardware tuning,a SDR testbench of SISO-FBMC and a SDR testbench of MIMO-FBMC which contains two transmitting antennas and two receiving antennas are built by using the popolar universal software radio peripheral(USRP)platform,and demonstrates complete communication process of FBMC system.Besides,some key technologies of FBMC physical layer have been verified and tested.In order to enrich the demonstration effect,we carried out specific function of the development based on these testbench.
