In recent years, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) technology hasbeen widely used in nuclear medicine, especially the SPECT technology can make use of nuclidedrugs to achieve the functional imaging of human organs, and it,in clinical diagnosis of theheart, lungs, and brain diseases, has become a very important tool. SPECT imaging processcan be divided into the following several key steps: projection data, image reconstruction andattenuation correction. This paper is mainly to study the image reconstruction algorithms in-volved in the several steps above, of which the analytic reconstruction algorithm is the majorpart. However, since the body can absorb,decay and scatter the emitting gammaphoton, soif you do not consider these factors, it will lead to bias. Thus, we must consider non-uniformattenuation factors and do the right compensation for attenuation in quantitative reconstruc-tion like this. In the past, compensation for non-uniform attenuation is mainly achieved byan iterative algorithm. Non-uniform attenuation exact analytical image reconstruction becomespossible, until Novikov deduced the inverse analytical formulas for the parallel projection andnon-uniform attenuation. Then we extend Novikov inverse formula to fan-shaped projection,and conduct numerous related analytical algorithms studies, greatly improving the image re-construction speed. First we make a detailed introduction with respect to the background andsignificance of SPECT image reconstruction. Then we specifically introduce some basic knowl-edge and reconstruction in the interested domain, which will be used in the article. Finally weobtain an inversion formula of analytic and reconstruction. The main topic in this article is toconduct a study on the reconstruction problem of SPECT image reconstruction in the interest(ROI), to derive the analytic reconstruction inverse formula in the uniform attenuation situationand to obtain some Improved analytical reconstruction algorithm formulas. Based on the aboveanalysis, the implementation of the program accordings to the following topics:In Chapter1, we discuss some background and significance on the SPECT image recon-struction; In Chapter2, we introduce and review the knowledge and main content relate to the Radontransform;In Chapter3, we study the reconstruction in the interest region(ROI);In Chapter4, we study an accurate analytical reconstruction inversion formula reconstruc-tion in the case of uniform attenuation.
