The high data-rate and the high connection reliability are most importantperformance indicators in wireless communication systems. MIMO(multiple-input andmultiple-output) by using multiple antennas technology can obtain space diversity andimprove wireless communication capacity. But be strictly restricted by the power andsize of mobile terminal, it can’t be easily implemented in reality. In cooperativecommunication, multiple users through sharing the antenna form a virtual MIMOsystem. It can be used in Ad hoc Network, Cognitive Radio Network and CellularNetwork, has a wide application prospect. In cooperative communication, users use different relay technology to forwardother’s information to destination. The resources’ amount of mobile terminals is limited, and it consumes relay’s resource when it transmits other information. So the powerallocation is an important problem in cooperative communication. Evaluated onminimize system’s symbol error rate, we respectively propose the power allocationalgorithm in single relay and multiple relay system. In this thesis, first introduce the diversity and combine techniques and thenanalysis several cooperative protocols. Then discuss this power allocation problemdepending on the different networks. First, In centralized control network, every node inthe system can be the relay, so we just need to approach the objective performanceindex. We propose two algorithms based on single relay and multiple relay system, simulation verifies that the proposed algorithms have positive effect. Otherwise in thedistributed network, every node devote to its own benefit, tend not to be the relay forother users. Game theory gives an effective tool to solve this problem. Based onStackelberg game, this paper studies the relay selection problem and the powerallocation problem.
