With the rapid development of China’s automobile industry as well as thecontinuous improvement of people’s living standard, the people’s demands for thevehicle multimedia system is increasing higher and higher. At the same time, thedevelopment of a new generation of high-performance embedded platform,embedded operating system, and new high-speed communication technologiescontinue to promote the progress of this popular domain. Research, design andimplementation of a high-performance vehicle audio system with a combinationof the latest researches have a high theoretical significance and practical value.The paper first introduced the development status of embedded mediaequipment, vehicle software applications and new communications technology.Then it analyzed the system requiements, and proposes a vehicle intelligentterminal design based on S3C2440platform, running the Linux operating systemwith3G network transmission.The design includes two parts: fistly analyzed the technical characteristicsand development status of related fields for each module, and selected thehardware and software of each module. Secondly selected a multi-threadedprogramming model based on work content and features of terminal systems, andprovided a delicate thread division according to different functions and featuresfor each module.In the course of the development platform to build, the paperused FFmpeg for software decoding audio files, and UDA1341chip for hardwaredecoding audio data.The paper also focused on the design of the remote server. In this section wediscussed the use of MySQL database, a variety of programming modelsincluding multi-threading and I/O multiplexing model, message push ideas, aswell as through the TCP protocol to send audio files and other content, andpresentd a new extended messaging and processing model including offlinecommunication.Finally, the paper work completed a summary of the whole media system,pointing out the place to be refined and improved, raised the prospect on thedevelopment of related technologies.
