The Research Of Realizing Library Knowledge Services Based On Science Data Management

With the advent of the data driven era，the libraries’ Resource constructiondirection and service modes are going to changing. Science data will be an importantpart of the libraries’ Resource construction, and the service mode of libraries will bemore knowledge-based, how to combine the two together Is the core question we needto think when we face the sustainable development of library. On the basis of theexisting research and practice, firstly we analyses the related bodies such as thegovernment and the fund、 the researchers and research institutions、 the data center、the data publishing organization and the IT department in scientific data managementfrom the perspective of Academic communication system, clear these stakeholders’role in scientific data management. On the basis of discussion above, combined withthe development demands of library, make clear that the library can play the followingroles scientific in data management: Embedded data specialist、Process-based datacuration institutions、 Data archiving, long-term preservation institutions、 Dataliteracy education institutions. Then according to the train of thought of Constructionof knowledge unit、Organization of knowledge unit、integration of knowledge unitanalysis the management of science data from Three aspects of description ofScientific data、 Organization of science data and integration of science data.Description of Scientific data mainly involved Construction of Meta data sets and datadescription document. Organization of science data is expounded mainly from theperspective of system classification and subject classification. Integration of sciencedata is expounded on the experience of ontology, and Linked data. In the end, on thebasis of the knowledge service mode demand of science data put forward theapproaches that can make knowledge service came true.
