Sea clutter is the backscattered echo of the radar signal radiation to the ocean surface, it will seriously interfere with the performance of detection and location ofthe target tracking, Study of sea clutter characteristics and suppression methods hasthe vital significance to improve the detection of marine radar.The main work in this paper:(1) Study on the mechanism of the sea clutter wave,amplitude characteristics andrelated properties. Analysis of Rayleigh, Lognormal, Weibull and k distribution,Influnce of shape andscale parameters on Compound K distribution model.Study on the method of sea clutter simulation:ZMNL method and SIRP method, to realize the simulation of sea clutter sequences.(2) Of the particle swarm algorithm, The inertia weight, learning factor, the release of stagnation particles,boundary problem approach was improved, Puting forwardthe improved particle swarm optimization method,To solve the problem,which need high precision estimation of the shape and scale parameters of compound k distribution.(3) Based on the short-term predictability of chaotic sequence, To realize regression prediction of sea clutter sequences using support vector machine. First on the Sea clutter sequences of phase space reconstruction, By using mutual information method and improved false neighbor method to calculate the time delay and embeddingdimension of phase space reconstruction required, Using phase space reconstruction to get the SVM training samples, Applying improved PSO-SVM to establish regression model.(4) When In the light of weak signal and target doppler frequency in the firstorder Bragg frequency,the target detection effect is not ideal using Cancellation method, singular value decomposition method. Puting forward the high resolution spectrum estimation (MUSIC) algorithm for target detection. The simulation results show that: using the improved MUSIC algorithm to detect the target signal has a strong advantage. Using MATLAB function ofGUI, realizes the software main interface and function modules of the application so ftware interface, operation simple and intuitive.
