As an indispensable part of transportation system in China, railway traffic system plays asignificant role in the development of our national economy. Moreover, power supply section,which is also an essential component of the railway traffic system, undertakes severalimportant tasks, like traction power supply, power supply of transportation signal,maintenance of electric power equipment and so on. With the rapid development of oursociety, the ways of operating management towards power supply system steps into a newstage as well. To facilitate the issues within power supply section such as personnelmanagement, operation management and security management etc., an informationmanagement system is proposed in this thesis, which is based on the Agent system, and alsoaccording to the specific business requirements by power supply section of Shenyang Bureau.Agent is a novel concept, generally refers to those highly intelligent systems that canrespond automatically, usually containing part of software and hardware. The Agent iscapable of evaluating the information needed for decision-making and providing operationsuggestions etc., all of which is up to users’ requirements. The intelligent management systemof power supply information based on Agent system ensures the integrity of powerinformation system. Taken full advantage of Agent systems, users can reduce the managementcosts together with client demands; also boost the proficiency and management levels. All ofthese may guarantee the smoothness of railway transportation system.With an exhaustive investigation and analysis about power supply section’s businessrequirements, the main contributions of this thesis are the proposal of architecture aboutpower supply information system; the design and implementation of the software. Primaryattention is given to the analysis of business requirements of power supply section, CI frameand Apache+Mysql+PHP development platform is employed. After a deep learning of Agentand multiple Agent systems, this technology will be applied in the information system ofpower supply system. Then analysis and deigns of the system based on the Agent is realized,dataset module of each subsystems is devised in detail. Finally, the intelligent power supplyinformation system with decision-making ability will be presented.
