“Development of The Design and Estimation of Campus Materials ManagementSystem Based on C/S Framework”(Materials management system is used as theabbreviation in the following) is mainly applied in the materials management department ofthe school. In order to manage the usage of all materials of more than two thousand teachersand students in the school, the former work efficiency with papers in written is far less tosatisfy the current situation. After the detailed communication and research earlier, thefeasibility estimation report of the early stage was finished such as materials’ classification,materials’ warehousing record, inventory alarm, report form statistics etc. to solve the formersituation of data disorder and confirm that the usage of the materials management system willprovide great convenience to the materials management department of the school which isconsistent with the no paper energy-saving working theory advocated by the country.We plan to use DELPHI as the program development language in this systemconsidering the data volume and the secret issues of materials’ amount will apply ACCESS asthe data base. It is used as special machine operation for the materials management system,for example, the data base which could be upgraded to SQL server may be needed. The maintechnology is that the ADO data interface is applied. And the controls of other partiesVCLSKIN, FastReport are used to beautify and create the report forms. At the same time, theAPRIORI data mining based on association rules was conducted to the materials’ warehousekeeper. The system will satisfy all requirements proposed by the materials management staffof school to the actual operation in an extreme delicate way based on the aim of fullysubstituting the paper working method to realize the system automatic operation. We try tocreate new solutions based on the estimation of old issues with the soft development period ofabout3months (the following development period of sub-system was extended), the test andmodification period of about1month. After many experiments and modifications of the entiresystem, it is now successfully operating and it greatly improves the materials managementefficiency for the school.
