The advantage science and technology promote the rapid development of China’s economy. Atthe meantime, they also cause seriouse problems about resources shortage and environmentalpollution. Remanufacturing is the repair process in batches with professional methods which havesignificant effect on saving resources, reducing energy consumption and emissions (saving energy60%, saving raw materials70%, reducing emissions above80%), so government is highly concernedabout that. Currently, many well-known large-scale domestic enterprises, such as ShanghaiVolkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, China National Heavy Duty Truck, Weichai Power, XCMG, etc,have launched the remanufacturing business on the basis of the original manufacturer, formed amanufacturing/remanufacturing hybrid production coexist systems. However, in the hybrid system,the remanufacturing process has some uncertainty, and there is a certain substitution relationshipbetween new products and remanufactured products to meet consumer demand. So how to achieve aneffective coordination between manufacturing and remanufacturing processes and develop a scientificand rational hybrid system production planning has become an urgent problem to be solved.In this thesis, the following issues are studied. First one is about deterministic manufacturing/remanufacturing production planning hybrid systems modeling and optimization problem. Knowncustomers demand and recycling quantity with one-way substitution between products, it buildsmixed-integer programming model for this system, proposes an improved ant colony systemalgorithm to solve the model, discusses how some factors, such as production volume size, analternative strategy selection and utilization of production, affect the total production cost of thehybrid system. Second one is about stochastic manufacturing/remanufacturing production planninghybrid systems modeling and optimization problem. With uncertainty of customers demand ofremanufacturing products and recycling quantity under one-way substitution between products, itbuilds a stochastic integer programming model, designs a hybrid ant colony system algorithmACS-RSM to solve this problem, then it analyzes the effectiveness of the algorithm. Research helpsenrich the manufacturing/remanufacturing hybrid systems research content and methods, andprovides decision-making reference for enterprises to develop a reasonable production plan of hybridsystems.
