| The application of Structure Health Monitoring (SHM) to aircraft can help monitor the safety ofstructure, reduce maintenance costs and prolong service term, which makes an important theoreticalsignificance and practical application value to ensure the flight safety. Aiming at the demand ofdamage monitoring method using Resistant Strain Gauges and Smart Coating Sensors on the aircraftstructure, a Strain-Crack Monitoring System based on the Series Current Loop is developed. Thesystem can deal with the two kinds of resistant sensors. Thus when two systems monitor the samearea, the problems of massive and complex wires, large volume and high power consumption aresolved. Main contents of the thesis are as follows:1. Principle and measurement of Resistant Strain Gauges and Smart Coating Sensors areresearched. The strategy of using Series Current Loop to deal with the two kinds of resistant sensors ispresented. And the design scheme of Strain-Crack Monitoring System is also presented.2. The hardware of the monitoring system is developed, including the signal conditioning circuitand the data acquisition card.3. The software of the monitoring system is developed, including sensor recognition and circuitconfiguration software, data acquisition software and the data processing software.4. The functions of the monitoring system are tested and verified by a series of experiments,including sensor recognition and monitoring. The expected design target is verified by theexperimental results. |
