Design And Implementation Of Digital TV Network Management System Based On GIS

As the digital television network continues to expand the scale, networktransmission involves a lot of resources online, such as components, modules, linkmanagement as well as the growing importance of remote monitoring network operationstatus. The scale of digital TV network and the number of infrastructures are increasing,and the management of this network is increasingly difficult. Only relying on traditionalartificial and simple database system to manage digital television network resourcesoften leads to network resources statistics error and even chaos. It cannot meet thecurrent digital TV network scale and the need of maintenance and management. It isdifficult to meet the needs of the future development, and cannot realize scientificnetwork resources analysis, research and decision-making. GIS (GeographicInformation System, GIS) technology is already quite mature. With the development ofInformation technology and the drive power of triple play, the application of GIS in thedigital TV network management System has become a trend. Therefore, establishing alarge terrestrial digital TV network management system requires advanced technologiesand means, such as GIS, to improve the management of digital TV network, resourceallocation and productivity.This paper focus on problems of the traditional digital television network which isdifficult to realize effective resources management, presents a study of the digital TVnetwork management based on GIS and mobile communication system, and completesthe design and implementation of digital TV network management system based on GIS.The system uses the advantages of GIS technology in editing, storage and performanceof spatial data and attributes data to express data information directly, and combines3Gmobile communication network technology to detect and control the digital TV networksite, equipment, fault point scope, network routing and network coverage condition. Thesystem also provides advanced technological methods for the management, operationand maintenance of digital TV network to ensure long term stable operation of network.Through the actual test, the system has achieved expected effect well.This paper is on the basis of the current status of the digital television networkmanagement to summarizes the related technologies of the establishment of a digital TVnetwork management system based on GIS; Then analyzes the system performancerequirements and functional requirements; Then in the process of the design of the system, this study focus on the practical application of system software and hardwareconfiguration, characteristics and distribution of the application componentsdeployment location, to lay a solid foundation for building a stable system; In terms ofsystem database design, this study focus on the attribute database and spatial databasedesign and access technology; Finally, designs and implements the functions of networkmanagement, network analysis, communication equipment, system maintenance andquery statistics and graphical output.
