In order to detect and eliminate the unqualified cooling fans,abnormal vibrationnoise and less power capability, on production line quickly, a set of cooling fan qualityonline detection system is developed.This article analyzed the generating mechanism of cooling fan vibration and noiseare firstly, in detail. The developed system is mainly aimed at the unbalance vibration ofrotor. Then the vibration signal analysis methods on rotating machinery were introducedin detail,and the calculation order analysis was selected to analyze the cooling fan.Therotational speed isextracted from the vibration acceleration signal through the autotrakeralgorithm and is used to show the cooling fan’s power capability.Finally, the basicdetect principle based on the order spectrum and total is proposed, peak method andaverage method is used to establish the reference standard.At last, thecommunicationbetween thevisual basic and Pulse, PCI board, programmable dc powersupply was realized,the cooling fan quality online detection system was accomplished,the realization of various functions was introduced through the software interface andthe on-line detection of operation process was illustratedaccompany with the test bench3d figure.Currently, the cooling fan quality online detection system has been successfullyused in3production lines of BSH, and can detect the abnormal vibration noise and poorpower capability fan effectively...
