Garment is an important part of human life, in the field of game animation, film andentertainment, CAD/CAM, e-commerce, real three-dimensional virtual garmentsimulation has become a hot and difficult issue. Due to the complexity of the simulationfor the real wind field and cloth as the soft fabric, it is very valuable for the simulation forthe3D virtual garment.Firstly, we construct the rand wind field based the Perlin noise technology to simulatethe movement of the garment by the natural wind. The rand number generated by thePerlin noise functions make a disturbance to the windspeed which expresses thestrongness or weekness of the wind. As opposed to the traditional method of generatingwind field, the rand wind field based Perlin noise is simple and effective and the details ofthe movement of the garment can be got.Secondly, the initial contour of the2D garment can be gain by reading the DXF filesthe CAD system generat。We adopt delauly triangulation method to divide cloth intomeshed and make futher optimize and, then model the meshed cloth based the mass spring. We transform the2D garment patches into the3D garment with the seaming technologyand solve the position of the mass by Verlet integration.Thirdly,We analyze and compare existing collision detection algorithms for garmentsimulation system. The method we adopt adapt ellipsoids to surround the modelfitly. When detecting the collsion, the system need respond quickyly. Finally,We use the C++、OpenGL and OpenCV program Language design andimplement a real-time dynamic garment simulation system in rand wind field based Perlinnoise to validate the effectiveness of our algorithm proposed in this paper on the Windowsplatform.Experiments show that the proposed method strengthens the details and sense ofreality of the garment movement and improves the real-time performance.
