Cheng Shude who is the scholar of Republic, compiled "LunYuJiShi". The quantity of the book’s words are1,400,000and it virtually include all important works to make textual criticism and explain "LunYu" from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. It also cite many works correlated with "LunYu" in the four bibliographic. The amount to quotations in the book is680. The728notes in the book contain the author’s view of philology, the thoughts of explaining classic as well as a large number of research content. Therefore, there is very high academic value to the book and it is worthwhile to study specially for us.This paper’s object of study is cited book and note to "LunYuJiShi". Firstly, I not only introduce Cheng Shude’s life and writings and analyze the process of completing "LunYuJiShi" and the book’s version, but also describe the overall content and features of the book. Secondly, to the cited works, I mainly analyze three characteristics:mainly citing Classic and giving consideration to History, Ministry and Anthology; the Qing Dynasty edition mainly and focusing on a series books; marking no source of works in order to look for them easily. Then I summarize the three principles of citations:adopting both Hanxue and Songxue; maintaining ancient note; opting for Ministry and History. Contacting the appropriate citation, I definite that Cheng Shude make them classify and increase or reduce. Then the quotations were evaluated and I find out the errors he admitted to the books classified contrasting the quotations with "SiKuQuanShuZonM u" and combine with relevant examples of the lack of citation.Lastly, in the final chapter, the book’s notes were studied. The notes is divided into seven categories and each category is gave the corresponding examples. On the basis of the examples, I analyze the classical philology’s view of the notes:collator observing the principles, reading selected rare books, ancient books lost for reasons, pseudo-book used need to identify. The four rubric academic contributions are evaluated. They are paying attention to the version differences to collate basis, focusing on the exegesis of scripture and reflecting the skills of philological studies, focusing on the research of the name and description of a thing and being conducive to the scriptures to understand, to show the "LunYu" academic changes and to reject sectarianism. However, there are also partial to the notes. The tendency of blaming "LunYuJiZhu" is very obvious and some explains aren’t rigorous. With the exception of these, sage plot is too heavy bias, which is also a bias.In short the paper mainly study the cited works and notes of the book. I point out the characteristics and drawbacks of the book. The paper is further in-depth and supplementary to research "LunYuJiShi" on the basis of the predecessors.
