The short message is the most widely used value-added services; it is a convenient communication mode and has penetrated into people work and life in all areas.The current system for mobile communications SMS service mainly involves Mobile phone, MSC and SMC. In order to ensure the success of the SMS issued by the Short Message Center and Mobile Switching Center has retransmission mechanism, used in SMS issued mistake, retransmission message data. Message center retransmission is larger, the end-to-end delay. Mobile exchange centre in the timer set time, if it doesn’t receive SMS terminal response of confirm the report (ACK), then retransmission the message, its retransmission delay smaller.In the current Mobile communication system, in order to guarantee the success of messages in the SMS Center allots, movement and exchange Center (MSC, Mobile Switching Center) have retransmission mechanism for ministering in SMS issued by mistake, retransmission message data.The existing technology of mobile communication system, as the network of reasons, there has been a mistake in the SMS delivering issued by various SMS delay caused receive or cannot receive, a direct impact on the quality of the network’s perception of the customers, and this seriously influences the user’s business experience.This paper first introduces the principle and short message signaling process, then starting from customer complaints, introduced SMS which has been exist and huge amounts of SMS MSC reject erroneous by signaling, proved the SDCCH channel handover is the reason, which causes a large number of SMS delay received by mass of signal analysis. The author to existing technologies further research and test analysis, innovation of proposed enhanced SMS retransmission methods and equipment, Through adding a channel handover detector in the core network, real time acquisition channel handover information of mobile phone which is in the process of receiving SMS, dynamic modification channel SMS retransmission time, optimize the SMS retransmission process, which has solved the technical problem for SMS professional.The paper presents the design method of retransmission SMS messages, and network equipment for the perfect time retransmission, reduced in SMS channel after the establishment of for a long time not to receive SMS messages channel of release of the probability, thereby improving the SMS retransmission success rate, and enhance the network service quality, improve the user’s business experience. This thesis research TD/GSM network enhanced message retransmission method for optimizing SMS network, it’s significance for solving the problem of communication which is caused by channel handover.
