Research On Development Strategy And Planning Of IP Network Of TianJin Telecom

China has become a great power in the Internet development and is on the way to the next generation of the Internet along with increase investment in the Internet construction. As one of the core layers of China Public Computer Network (ChinaNet), Tianjin plays a vital role in the development of Chinese IP network. Tianjin Telecom is responsible for the management of sizable ChinaNet backbone network, and provides access to high speed relay and connection to access layer. After ten years of construction and expansion, Tianjin Telecom has become the backbone of public data network in China.The paper applies theoretical analysis, comparative analysis and research method to study IP network of Tianjin Telecom. The results show that based on strong customer, IP network of Tianjin Telecom still has problems such as limited scalability, flow pressure, limited control means. Because of brand business, large customers, complex customer requirement and other features of IP network, the article analyses customer requirement in detail and draws up a detail development strategy of IP network.According to requirement, development ideas and strategies of Tianjin Telecom IP network, the paper also developes a detail network scheme in three parts including network organization and capacity planning, network equipment and port planning, investment projects. Then Tianjin Telecom IP network will provide a suscess case for Chinese network development in long term.
