Thus it reflects some features of general social relations. However, different from general social relations, it is a kind of special social relation under educational structure. Relationship between teachers and students is the most essential interpersonal relationship in school education. A good or bad teacher-student relationship directly determines whether educational activities can be smoothly accomplished or not. It also has an significant influence on education quality and development of teachers and students.The relationship between teachers and students is not stable, but a dynamic process of development, while the relationship performs different changes in different eras. After entering into the new century, by the current market-driven economy, China’s teacher-student relationship appears new movement: a variety of relationships co-exist, namely, the ethical relations, contractual relations, administrative relations and knowledge teaching relationships. With the acceleration of the process of industrialization in the new era and the gradually growing social needs of talent which is achieving standard day by day, and the transformation of China’s education, which means the high education is more common than before, all these factors urged the new movements of the university teacher-student relationship. At the same time, new problems come out. For example, student-teacher ratio is too high; relationship between teachers and students becomes more indifferent; communication between teachers and students is not active; relationship between teachers and students tends to be utilitarian; sense of identity is in short; teachers and students do not show enough respect for each other and so on. All these problems should be paid much attention and need to be solved immediately.It is known to all, the new era university teacher-student relationship is satisfactory in general, but there exists some unharmonious aspects which requires us to advance with the times and strives to establish a new model of teacher-student relationship. Guided by the new model, the university teachers’social status can be retained, at the same time, they can try their best to teach the students. At the same time, in this new model, students will be self-esteem self-respect, and striving to learn the scientific and cultural knowledge, so as to become a pillar of socialist construction of China as soon as possible. In this way, teachers and students can reach a win-win situation.
