According to its property and activity content, teacher-student relationship is not a relationship between isolated persons but a social relation, restricted by the fundamental social relations of the whole society. Thus it reflects some features of general social relations. However, different from general social relations, it is a kind of special social relation under educational structure. Relationship between teachers and students is the most essential interpersonal relationship in school education. A good or bad teacher-student relationship directly determines whether educational activities can be smoothly accomplished or not. It also has an significant influence on education quality and development of teachers and students.The relationship between teachers and students is not stable, but a dynamic process of development, while the relationship performs different changes in different eras. After entering into the new century, by the current market-driven economy, China’s teacher-student relationship appears new movement: a variety of relationships co-exist, namely, the ethical relations, contractual relations, administrative relations and knowledge teaching relationships. With the acceleration of the process of industrialization in the new era and the gradually growing social needs of talent which is achieving standard day by day, and the transformation of China’s education, which means the high education is more common than before, all these factors urged the new movements of the university teacher-student relationship. At the same time, new problems come out. For example, student-teacher ratio is too high; relationship between teachers and students becomes more indifferent; communication between teachers and students is not active; relationship between teachers and students tends to be utilitarian; sense of identity is in short; teachers and students do not show enough respect for each other and so on. All these problems should be paid much attention and need to be solved immediately.It is known to all, the new era university teacher-student relationship is satisfactory in general, but there exists some unharmonious aspects which requires us to advance with the times and strives to establish a new model of teacher-student relationship. Guided by the new model, the university teachers’social status can be retained, at the same time, they can try their best to teach the students. At the same time, in this new model, students will be self-esteem self-respect, and striving to learn the scientific and cultural knowledge, so as to become a pillar of socialist construction of China as soon as possible. In this way, teachers and students can reach a win-win situation. That is, they get on with each other in harmony and both gain an all-round development.The important power of university teachers to students is to establish a good example, teachers of students in the development of life acts an significant role. The construction of a new harmonious relationship between university teachers and students, the university teachers are the school administration and management of hot spots is also an urgent problem need to solve in university. This study aims to document retrieval, analysis and research, teachers and students from both analysis of the impact of the construction of teacher-student relationship, the relationship between teachers and students to explore the new traits, and through case studies to interpret the relationship between university teachers and students to construct a new effective pattern .In this paper, the planning for the five chapters, its contents are summarized as follows:Chapter I: literature. Retrieve through the document of the relationship between domestic and foreign teachers and students of history, the status quo, content, etc., for the sake of establishing a new relationship between university teachers and students and providing a theoretical reference.Chapter II: a new way to explain the relationship between teachers and students. By means of the definition of the concept, and interpret new features of teacher-student relationship, first of all advance a new teacher-student relationship is harmonious relations between university teachers and students.Chapter III: the relationship between teachers and students of the status quo of survey and analysis. By means of the questionnaire survey in Hebei University of Science and Technology、People’s University of China and Qinghai University for Nationalities ---three patterns of college teachers and students of some of the effects of teacher-student relationship traits and how to establish a wonderful relationship between teachers and students of knowledge, and the impact of the teacher-student relationship analysis of the factors and how to set a new relationship between teachers and students to talk over and analysis.Chapter IV: Case Studies of new university teacher-student relationship.
