Investigation On The Current Situation Of The Individual Sports Associations In Urumqi

This paper analyzes the case of Taekwondo Association according to the management system, the operation mechanism, the human resource, the funds and the activities situations of the single sports associations in Urumqi by using the literature study, the questionnaire investigation, the expert interview, the mathematical statistics and other research methods. The full text will come up with a series of countermeasures and suggestions based on the Urumqi single sports association’s existing problems. Combining with the association’s development characteristics, the paper puts forwards the ideal operation mode on the grassroots single sports associations to provide the reform basis on the management system of the PE authoritative department and promote the extensive carrying out of the local fitness activities.After research, we found the existing problems the Urumqi single sports associations have. Most of the associations don’t have the comprehensive department sets. The associations’ daily management and activity organization are relatively loose and get less limitation. The associations’ rules and regulations are not perfect enough which cannot embody the association’s features. The content is mostly machine-made which seems to be same, lacking of practicability. The associations are applying to the basic management mode which is mainly composed of the part-time staffs with complementary full-time staffs. The associations are lacking of the administrators, and the members’ structural distribution is also unreasonable. Then, the associations’ funding source is somewhat unitary which is mainly supported by the government’s fiscal appropriation and the enterprises sponsor. There are much fewer associations to create income by profit. Therefore, the funds’ spending scale is smaller. Also the associations haven’t got enough propaganda. The means and approaches of the propaganda are relatively unitary.Facing the development pressure, the development countermeasures of the single sports associations in Urumqi are to perfect the institutional framework, strengthen the standardization of their activity, lay down the sound rules and regulations to improve its practicability, establish the associations’ management team and monitor the members’ physique, realize the funds’ sources diversity and strengthen the supervision and management to their finances, enrich the measures of the propaganda, and enhance their propaganda and influences.
